Studio Policy

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Lesson time is reserved exclusively for you.

​

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson without charge.

  • Lessons cancelled within 24 hours, or missed without notice, incur a $50 late cancellation fee.

​​

If you are unwell or unable to attend in person, please notify me as soon as possible. When appropriate, lessons may be moved online to preserve your session time.

​

Online lesson option

In-person lessons may be converted to an online lesson with at least 1 hour’s notice. Online sessions include exercises, technique work, repertoire support, and vocal training equivalent to studio lessons.

​

Thank you for respecting studio scheduling. This policy helps maintain fairness and availability for all students.

​

Sick or Illness 

  • If you're feeling sick, please notify me as early as possible. Whenever practical, we can switch your lesson to an online session to avoid cancellation. Avoid singing if you have a sore throat to prevent strain.

​

Payment Policy

  • Payment is due on the day of the lesson (for in-person lessons) or in advance (for online lessons).

  • Invoices are available upon request.

  • Please allow 2 business days for direct deposits to process into my account.

Punctuality

  • Lessons begin at the appointed time. Please arrive 5 minutes early to prepare for your lesson.

  • For online lessons, be ready 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson time.

  • Please avoid arriving too early, as there is no waiting area inside apart from the studio.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened lesson time to avoid disrupting the schedule.

Missed Payments

  • Missed payments will result in the suspension of future lessons until cleared.

​

Teaching Period

  • Lessons are usually held during the Victorian school terms.

  • No lessons will be held during Victorian school holidays or public holidays, unless advised.

​

Photo/Video Consent

  • Photos or videos may be taken during lessons for promotional purposes. Inform me if you do not want to be featured.

  • All media will be used respectfully and solely for Dots Singing content.​
